LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field wrapped up competing at the 2026 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday at Franklin & Marshall.
The Bears completed their weekend by adding two silvers and two bronze medals while finishing second as a team with a total of 127 points.
The Bears claimed both silvers in the jumping events as junior
Jaxon Geddio finished second in the high jump with his mark of 1.88 meters and sophomore
Andy Zigbuo was second in the long jump at 6.82 meters. Junior
Carter Kensil recorded a bronze medal in the shot put with his personal best mark of 14.95 meters and first-year
Noah Tapler claimed the other bronze medal in the 60 meter dash with a personal best time of 6.94 in his Championship debut.
In sprints, senior
Aiden Tobin finished fourth in a pair of races as he recorded a season best time of 7.01 in the 60-meter dash before posting a time of 21.97 in the 200-meter dash, being one of four athletes to top the meet record in the event. Senior
Patrick Ryan placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 8.72 and first-year
Bryson Sacher was right behind in fifth on a personal best time of 8.77. Tapler also finished fifth in the 200 meters on a personal best time of 22.64 and sophomore
Kyren Young rounded out the top-10 on a time of 23.06. First-year
Ramon Martinez earned points for the Bears in the 800 meters by placing eighth on a time of 1:58.11.
Senior
Liam Johnston placed fifth in the mile with his time of 4:21.42 while a trio of Bears earned points for the Bears in the high jump. Senior
David Piotrowski was fifth at a season best mark of 1.83 meters, senior
Markel Roberts-Jackson was sixth at 1.83 meters, and senior
Cole Jackson was eighth at 1.78 meters. Sophomore
Noah Sanders tallied a sixth-place finish in the shot put on his mark of 13.52 meters.
Junior
Logan Downs placed fourth in the heptathlon after amassing 3,783 points and classmate
Devon Bock was eighth at 3,234 points.
Ursinus will return to action on Friday, March 6th as they will compete at the two-day AARTFC Championship hosted at the New York Armory starting at 11:00 a.m.
