WAYNESBORO, Pa. – The Ursinus men's golf team wrapped up its 2026 campaign with a sixth-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships on Sunday afternoon.
Five Bears competed at Waynesboro Country Club, a par-72 course that stretches 6,596 yards. Ursinus posted rounds of 323, 318 and 327 to finish with a three-day total of 968. The mark represents the program's lowest three-round score at the Centennial Conference Championships since at least 2010.
Franklin & Marshall captured the team title with a Centennial Conference Championships record score of 11-under 853. Dickinson (863) placed second, McDaniel (865) finished third and Gettysburg (872) rounded out the top four. Swarthmore (887) took fifth, followed by Ursinus (968) in sixth. Muhlenberg (982) and Washington College (1,015) completed the eight-team field.
First-year
JP Hoban led the Bears, placing 27th in his Centennial Championships debut with a three-round total of 232. Hoban shot 76 on Friday, 74 on Saturday and 82 on Sunday. In his final round, he recorded birdies on the par-4 sixth and par-5 eighth holes. He carded a 43 on the front nine and totaled six pars over his final nine holes.
First-year
Lucas Milliken posted an 80 on Sunday, his lowest round of the tournament, after rounds of 81 on both Friday and Saturday. Milliken recorded a 42 on the front nine and notched nine pars over his final 11 holes, shooting 2-over 38 on the back nine to finish 29th overall.
First-year
Jason Walsh placed 32nd with a final-round 86, finishing with a three-day total of 249. He opened with an 83 on Friday and added an 80 on Saturday. Walsh recorded seven pars on the front nine, shooting 4-over 40, and posted a 46 on the back nine.
Senior
Jimmy Cage finished 33rd overall with rounds of 83, 86 and a tournament-low 81 on Sunday for a total of 250. He shot 4-over 40 on the front nine and highlighted his round with a birdie on the par-4 12th hole, finishing 9-over for the day.
Sophomore
Aidan Bonczek rounded out the lineup, tying for 34th with a final-round 84. He posted rounds of 87, 83 and 84 for a total of 254, improving on his 259 from last season. Bonczek recorded seven pars in his final round, carding a 43 on the front nine and a 41 on the back.
The Bears conclude their season and will return to action in the fall.
