COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Baseball team secured a Centennial Conference Tournament berth for the first time since 2017 and will host a Tournament game for the first time since 2009. The Bears, who have secured the fourth seed, will host the fifth-seeded Gettysburg at 3:00 p.m. in the opening round game.

Ticket Information
The Centennial Conference has announced that Hudl will serve as the ticket provider for CC championship events. Hudl will give event attendees the ability to purchase tickets online for each round of the Centennial postseason. Centennial fans will be able to find all scheduled postseason events on the Centennial ticketing homepage and quickly purchase tickets to receive via email. Fans will then use their smartphone to gain access at championship events through a simple and secure ticket validation process. Below are the ticket prices for each round of the postseason:

Ursinus holds a 22-16-1 overall record and a finished the regular season with a 9-9 mark in Centennial play. The Bears finished fourth in the Centennial regular season standings. Meanwhile, the Bullets finished the regular season with an overall record of 26-12 and a 9-9 mark in Centennial play. Gettysburg finished fifth in the Centennial Conference regular season standings
Scouting the Bears
The Bears hold a .310 batting average as a team behind a strong lineup up front and has the fourth-lowest pitching staff ERA in the Centennial Conference at 6.10. Sophomore
Luke Kopec leads the Bears and ranks 12th in the Centennial at .383 in his first season on the team and is tied for the team lead with 57 hits and with 12 doubles. Kopec also has a team-leading five home runs and ranks third with 40 RBI. First-year
Brett Barrett has had a breakout collegiate debut campaign as he leads the team with 46 RBI's which is 10th in the Centennial and is tied with Kopec for the team lead with 57 hits. Barrett has the fourth highest batting average on the team at .365 and is tied for the Centennial Conference lead with six triples. Barrett delivered a clutch go-ahead three-run home run on Sunday in the Bears must win game two against Johns Hopkins. Junior
Brandon Sullivan ranks third on the team with a .371 and leads the team with 53 runs scored while being tied for third in the Centennial with 28 stolen bases. Sophomore
Matthew Callahan ranks second on the team with a .376 batting average and is tied for third on the team with 56 hits. Senior pitcher
Dan Bass has been a workhorse on the mound for the Bears as he leads the Centennial with 66 innings pitched and has a team-leading five wins that is tied for fourth in the Centennial behind two complete games. He ranks second in the Centennial with 57 strikeouts.
Bears in the Playoffs
Ursinus will be making its eighth all-time appearance in the Centennial Conference tournament since the first one held in 2002, and first appearance since 2017 when they reached the Championship Round. They will be hosting their first home tournament game since hosting the Tournament weekend in 2009 and have won three Centennial Championships in 1996, 1999, and 2000.
Scouting the Bullets
Gettysburg is back in the opening game in the Centennial Conference Tournament for the second straight season after another strong season that saw them rise as high as 15th in the country in the D3baseball.com national rankings on March 30th. They hold a .325 team batting average and has the third-lowest team ERA in the Centennial at 5.58. First-year Mike Coleman is having a breakout collegiate debut season and leads the team with a .370 batting average and is second on the team with 51 hits. Junior Will Stellato leads the team with 59 hits, six home runs, and 46 RBI's. Junior Jack Amirata is second on the team with a .368 batting average and is third on the team with 50 hits while scoring 41 runs and tallying 38 RBI's. Senior pitcher Alex Wilkie-Viscio has the lowest ERA on the team at 4.14 and is tied for second in Centennial with six wins.
Bullets in the Playoffs
Gettysburg is making its second straight Centennial Conference Tournament appearance and eighth overall appearance in program history. The Bullets have never won a Centennial Conference Baseball Championship and advanced to one Championship round in program history back in 2014 when they hosted the Tournament weekend.
Series History
Ursinus holds the all-time series advantage over the Bullets at 50-36-1. This will be the second all-time postseason meeting between the two teams after Ursinus defeated Gettysburg 9-1 in 2007.
Last Meeting
The Bears swept the Bullets in their doubleheader this season in Collegeville back on April 18th by scores of 7-3 and 8-3. In game one, the Bears trailed 2-0 after three before one in the fourth and six in a decisive fifth inning to go up 7-2. Callahan hit a go-ahead two run single while Kopec hit a three-run home run. In game two, Gettysburg scored first again before the Bears got four in the third to go up 4-1. The Bullets pulled within a run at 4-3 before Kopec delivered yet another decisive hit with a bases-clearing three-run double that made it 7-3. Callahan capped the scoring with an RBI single in the 6th.
Ursinus Head Coach: Kyle Lindsay
Kyle Lindsay joined the Bears prior to the 2023 season and has brought Ursinus back into contention. He has won 85 games in four seasons as the head coach of the Bears after initially making his head coach debut at Delaware Valley in 2022. Lindsay has coached four All-Centennial selections during the first three seasons at the helm at Ursinus.
Gettysburg Interim Head Coach: Jeremy Hefele
Jeremy Hefele was named the interim head coach of the Bullets in May 2025 after previous head coach Cory Beddick departed to become the Athletic Director at Alvernia. He spent three seasons as the Beddick's top assistant and pitching coach after initially spending seasons as the head coach at Clarks Summitt in 2022 and interim head coach at Cairn in 2021.
