GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field team finished the 2026 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships by claiming seven medals on the final day at Gettysburg on Sunday afternoon.
The Bears finished second as a team for the second straight season to continue their top-two finish streak with 132.5 points to narrowly top Dickinson in third who had 132. Ursinus claimed five silver medals and two bronze on the final day of the Championship meet.
Senior
Aiden Tobin claimed two of those silver medals by way of individual in the 100 and 200 meters to put a bow on his Centennial Championship career. He posted a season best time of 10.74 in the 100 before recording a time of 21.65 in the 200 meters. Tobin also helped lead the 4x100 relay team with first-years
Aidan Heppard and
Noah Tapler plus junior
James Long-Stratton to a silver medal on a time of 42.29. He completes his Outdoor Centennial Championship career with 12 total medals behind seven individual nods and five relay medals.
Junior
Carter Kensil claimed his first outdoor silver medal in the shot put by recording a throw of 14.57 meters and classmate
Riley Ford earned his first individual medal with a silver in the javelin on a personal best throw of 54.90 meters. Tapler finished just behind Tobin to gain bronze in the 100 meters on a personal best time of 10.82 and senior
Patrick Ryan earned bronze in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 56.80.
First-year
Bryson Sacher finished eighth in the 110-meter hurdles on a time of 32.01 and sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.42. Senior
Cole Jackson finished seventh in the triple jump on a personal best mark of 13.33 meters. Junior
Liam Janschka placed ninth in the javelin at 48.78 meters while classmate
Michael Danter was 15th at 33.37 meters. Senior
Liam Johnston placed 15th in the 1500 meters with a season best time of 4:05.46. Sophomore
Noah Sanders recorded a throw of 12.17 meters to finish 14th in the shot put and
The 4x400 relay team of first-year

Ramon Martinez placed fourth on a time of 3:25.14.
The Bears return to action on Friday, May 8th as they will compete in the West Chester Last Chance Meet.
