All-Centennial Team
LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Track & Field saw 10 different student-athletes earn a combined 15 All-Conference nods for their performances at the Centennial Outdoor Championships, announced by the conference on Friday morning.
The team consists of top three finishers (except for third-place relay teams) for each event at the 2026 Centennial Men's Track & Field Outdoor Championships that were held from May 1st to 3rd.
First-year
Noah Tapler was the lone first team selection after earning it for the long jump and honorable mention for the 100-meter dash. Senior
Aiden Tobin claimed a pair of individual second team nods in the 100 and 200 meters. Tobin and Tapler combined with junior
James Long-Stratton and first-year
Aidan Heppard to get second team in the 4x100 relay. Sophomore
Noah Sanders added a pair of All-Centennial honors with second team in the hammer throw and honorable mention for discus. Senior
Sean Bowers got second team honors for the pole vault, junior
Carter Kensil gained second team in the shot put, and junior
Riley Ford got second team for the javelin. Senior
Cole Jackson earned honorable mention for the high jump and senior
Patrick Ryan gained it for the 400 meters hurdles.
Tapler earned the Bears only gold medal of the 2026 Outdoor Centennial Championships by winning the long jump on a personal best mark of 6.78 meters. It was just the second time all season Tapler competed in the long jump after making his debut in it just on April 24th at TCNJ. He also claimed a bronze in the 100-meter dash on a time of 10.82 and tied for the most amount of All-Centennial on the team at three.
Tobin claimed two All-Centennial second team honors by way of individual in the 100 and 200 meters in his final Centennial Conference Championship. He posted a season best time of 10.74 in the 100 before recording a time of 21.65 in the 200 meters. He matched Tapler with three All-Centennial nods with the two teaming up for silver in the 4x100 relay with Heppard and Long-Stratton.
Sanders added a pair of All-Centennial honors after taking silver in the hammer throw at 54.74 for his second straight All-Centennial honor for the event. He then got honorable mention for his bronze in the discus with his throw of 41.37 meters. Kensil claimed his first outdoor silver medal in the shot put by recording a throw of 14.57 meters and Ford earned his first individual medal and All-Centennial honor with a silver in the javelin on a personal best throw of 54.90 meters. Bowers claimed his first career silver medal after taking second at 4.10 meters in the pole vault and his first All-Centennial second team honor of his career.
Jackson also claimed his first career All-Centennial nod after taking bronze in the high jump and Ryan got honorable mention for his bronze in the 400 hurdles at 56.80.
