YORK, Pa – In the second day of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic Ursinus women's basketball team fell to York College 55-44, Sunday afternoon.

The Bears drop to 1-1 for the season after today's non-conference loss.

Junior forward Elana Roadcloud led the Bears with 10 points and 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.

In a back and forth game, Ursinus took an early lead but in the final five minutes of the half the Spartans went on a 10-2 to take a 27-20 lead going into the half.

For the second half the Bears couldn't claw their way back from the deficit being outscored 28-24 in the remaining minutes.

The Bears will open their Centennial conference schedule Wednesday night at Gettysburg.
