COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College indoor women's track and field team will start competition in the two-day Centennial Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Franklin & Marshall's Schnader Field House starting on Saturday morning.
The Bears finished fifth at last season's championships at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center after garnering 37 points.
The Bears earned 54 points to place fourth in the indoor poll for the second-straight season back in November. 11-time defending champion Johns Hopkins received nine of the 10 possible first-place votes to headline the poll in first with 81 total points.
Ursinus has four different individuals seeded within the top-five in five different events for the championship meet. Seniors
Rachel Conhoff and
Isabelle Deal both hold the highest seeds for the Bears entering the meet. Conhoff is seeded second in the 800 meters with her time of 2:19.50 while Deal has the second-best shot put mark at 12.95 meters as she seeks to medal again in the event. Conhoff also holds third in the mile with her time of 5:04.79 and Deal sists fifth in the weight throw on her mark of 13.87 meters. Junior
Jacqueline Allen enters in the fourth seed for both throwing events behind throws of 14.0 meters in the weight and 11.64 meters in the shot put.
Freshman Juniper Barouth-Sherman will compete in the pentathlon for the Bears, and she recorded the fifth-most points for the event in the Centennial this season with 2,255 points. Senior
Hannah Bierling holds top-10 seeds for both throwing events as she sits seventh in the shot put at 11.15 meters and ninth in the weight at 12.76 meters. Senior

Brooke Adams hold top-10 seeds in the mid-distance events with Chambers in eighth for the mile (5:17.30) and Adams in ninth for the 800 (2:22.92).
For the relays, the Bears the distance medley relay team is ranked second on a time of 12:32.06 and the 4x400 relay team enters sixth on their time of 4:20.70.
