NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. - Ursinus College women's lacrosse graduate Julia McCann will close her collegiate career with another postseason honor as she was selected to the Blue roster for the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Division III Senior All-Star Game.
 
 
The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: Blue and White. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The Division II team will play the first game at 10:00 am ET, the Division III game will follow at 12:30 pm, and the Division I teams will cap off the event with their game at 3:00 pm. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The Senior All-Star games will NOT be streamed.
 
 
McCann has been a mainstay in the Bears lineup since her collegiate debut season of 2022. She is a three-time All-Centennial selection with first team honors coming in 2023 and 2025 along with second team in 2024. She is also a two-time IWLCA All-Region Second Team selection with honors coming in 2023 and 2024. McCann appeared and started in 68 games during her four years on the team and missed just one game during that span. She was instrumental in leading the Bears to a pair of Centennial Conference Tournament appearances. McCann totaled 131 points behind 105 goals and 26 assists and became the Bears all-time leader in draw controls at 314. This past season, McCann registered 29 points behind 24 goals and five assists along with totaling 85 draw controls, 19 ground balls, and 12 caused turnovers.
 
 
 
McCann is one of eight Centennial Conference players who were chosen for the Senior All-Star Game and will all compete on the Blue Team.
 
 
 
The Bears have had three selections to the All-Star game in the past four seasons with Alexa Machado being the most recent in 2023.
