Jablonski Joins Men's Lacrosse Coaching Staff

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Ursinus Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Corey Shaffer announced the hiring of Michael Jablonski to be the new Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach on Tuesday.
 
 
Jablonski comes to Ursinus after serving as the head coach at Muskingum for the past two seasons. Jablonski coached numerous firsts for the Muskies in the first Academic All-American, First team All-Conference selection, and the first second team All-Conference selection. Jablonski also helped lead new fundraising records for the program as well. He worked his way up at Muskingum by starting out as a graduate assistant in 2019 before being promoted to a part-time assistant and eventually full-time assistant.
 
 
Before arriving at Muskingum, Jablonski served as the graduate assistant and interim head coach of the men's lacrosse team at Wheeling Jesuit University. At Wheeling Jesuit, he coached the defense, ran the substitution box, and served as the recruiting coordinator. Jablonski took over as interim head coach at the midway point of the 2019 season.
 
 
Jablonski was also a four-year player for the men's lacrosse team at Wheeling Jesuit. During his career at WJU, he appeared in 30 games, recording 17 goals, tallying seven assists, and grabbing 15 ground balls. Before Wheeling, Jablonski had a decorated career at L'Anse Creuse High School, and is still the school's all-time leading scorer, finishing his career as the 12th all-time leading scorer in MHSAA history.
 
 
Jablonski is also heavily involved in coaching club lacrosse and has served mentoring teams such as: 313 Lacrosse, Premier Lacrosse Group (PLG), Resolute Lacrosse.
