Four Men's Lax Players Named to CSC Men's At-Large Academic All-District Team

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Four Ursinus Men's Lacrosse student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors in the At-Large division as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
 
 
Recent graduates Harry Sweitzer, Nicholas Grahame, and Lars Homan along with rising junior Daniel Rice represented the Bears on the team.
 
 
 
Academic All-District recognizes student-athletes for their performance both on the field and in the classroom as honorees must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be a key starter/reserve for their respective team.
 
 
 
An applied economics graduate, Sweitzer earned his third straight Academic All-District team selection. Sweitzer also garnered his third straight All-Centennial nod after earning his second All-Centennial Honorable Mention nod of his career. Sweitzer led the Bears once again in scoring with 44 points behind a team-leading 30 goals and 14 assists. He tallied nine multi-goal games and had at least three points in 10 games while adding 30 ground balls. Sweitzer also earned a Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor for the first time in his career back in early March. He will finish his career with 143 points with 92 goals and 51 assists along with 77 ground balls.
 
 

Grahame, a biology graduate, earns his first career CSC Academic All-District hinor by anchoring the Bears defense and put up career best numbers in 2026 by tallying 27 caused turnovers and 45 ground balls. He ranked second in the Centennial Conference with his caused turnovers and with 1.80 caused turnovers per game. Grahame ranked second on the team in ground balls and tallied three points behind two assists and one goal.
 
 

A finance graduate, Homan earned his first career CSC Academic All-District nod. Homan also recorded career best numbers in 2026 by tallying 26 points behind 16 goals and 10 assists. He tallied five multi-goal games and picked up 10 ground balls.
 
 

Rice, a biology major, was the third of the group to make his CSC Academic All-District debut. He had a breakout 2026 season by leading the Bears with 31 goals and ranking second on the team with 39 points behind adding eight assists. Rice grabbed 14 ground balls and caused seven turnovers while recording five games with at least three goals.
