LEWISBURG, Pa. – Ursinus Men's Golf continued their fall schedule by competing in the two-day "The Gauntlet" event at the Bucknell Golf Club between Sunday and Monday.
Ursinus accumulated a two-day team score of 632 (+72) to finish 15
th overall. Drew won the team event behind a team score of 572 (+12).
Junior
Brandon Mongan led the Bears with a total of 153 (+13) behind a career best 73 (+3) on Sunday in round one and 80 (+10) on Monday to tie for 35
th overall. First-year
JP Hoban was second among Bears golfers and tied for 39
th overall with his total of 154 (+14) from a 76 (+6) on Sunday and a 78 (+8) on Monday. First-year
Jason Walsh totaled a 163 (+23) and tied for 67
th overall after tying for the team low score on Monday with a 78. Sophomore
Aidan Bonczek finished with a 165 (+25) in 71
st and first-year
Lucas Milliken finished 74
th with his score of 167 (+27)
The Bears return to action on Friday, October 3
rd as they will open play at the two-day DeSales Fall Invitational at Olde Homestead Golf Club in New Tripoli, Pa. at 11:00 a.m.
