COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College Athletics has announced a new partnership with Rothman Orthopaedics, naming the nationally recognized orthopedic practice the Official Orthopedic Partner of Ursinus College Athletics. The partnership will enhance sports medicine services for Bears student-athletes by providing expanded access to orthopedic specialists, injury care, concussion management, and additional healthcare resources throughout the academic year.


As part of the agreement, Rothman Orthopaedics will provide comprehensive sports medicine coverage for Ursinus Athletics, including physician coverage at home football games, pre-season medical examinations for student-athletes, and a weekly sports medicine injury clinic. Rothman Sports Medicine Physicians will work alongside Ursinus athletic training staff to help ensure student athletes receive timely, high-quality care.

Through the partnership, Ursinus student-athletes will receive expedited access to Rothman's network of sports medicine specialists through the practice's VIP Appointment Access program. The service allows athletes to quickly schedule evaluations, imaging services, rehabilitation appointments, and treatment for acute sports-related injuries. Student-athletes will also have access to Rothman's concussion management program and immediate care through Rothman Orthopaedics Urgent Care Centers and Walk-in Centers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In addition to direct medical services, Rothman will also add Ursinus College as a partner in its Fast Scheduler program, providing members of the Ursinus community with streamlined access to orthopedic appointments and specialized care.


As the Official Orthopedic Partner of Ursinus College Athletics, Rothman Orthopaedics will receive significant visibility across Bears athletic programs. Partnership assets include public address announcements during home football games, digital signage at Patterson Field and other athletic venues, logo placement in home-game digital programs, social media promotion, and recognition during Homecoming events.


Ursinus will also launch a dedicated partnership landing page featuring information about Rothman's sports medicine services, including direct access to the Rothman Fast Scheduler and RothmanNow programs.



The partnership reflects a shared commitment between Ursinus College and Rothman Orthopaedics to support student-athlete health, enhance access to world-class sports medicine care, and provide Bears athletes with the resources they need to succeed in competition, in the classroom, and beyond.
