COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Track & Field program will send a pair student-athletes to compete in the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend at the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex at Wisconsin-La Crosse.
 
 
 
Senior Kaelin Ryan and sophomore Mitchell Davis will represent the Bears at the Outdoor Championship Meet that will begin on Thursday, May 21st. The duo also represented the Bears at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March.
 
 
 
Ryan returns to an NCAA Championship Meet as she makes her Outdoor debut two months after making her first NCAA Championship meet. She will look to replicate her All-American honor after gaining second team in the 60-meter hurdles during the Indoor Championships. Ryan initially recorded a 14.55 in her first outdoor meet of the season in the event and eventually built it to her best time of 14.23 this past Monday at the Widener Last Chance Meet. She owns the Bears school record and it was the 16th fastest time in NCAA Division III for the event this Spring. As she did in indoors, Ryan had her best outdoor season of her career by repeating her Centennial Conference Championship Most Outstanding Track Performer honor behind winning two gold medals and one silver.
 
 
 
Davis makes it 4-for-4 now in his career to qualify for an NCAA Championship meet after qualifying in both the Indoor and Outdoor meets last season as well. Davis valiantly battled to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the pole vault and took his performance to the next level in the Outdoor season by delivering the best pole vault mark in Division III this season of 5.28 meters at Widener back in Mid-April. Davis claimed the AARTFC Pole Vault title on Wednesday afternoon and seeks his fourth All-American honor next Saturday.  
 
 
 
The NCAA Outdoor Championships will start on Thursday, May 21st through Saturday, the 23rd. Ryan will compete on Friday in the prelims and Ryan will race on Saturday if she makes the finals. Davis will compete at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Live video and live result links will be added when made available.
