Davis, Ryan Repeat All-American Selections

LA CROSSE, WIS. – Sophomore Mitchell Davis and senior Kaelin Ryan secured All-American status at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at UW-La Crosse this weekend.

The duo repeated their honors from the Indoor Championships with Davis taking First Team All-American off another runner-up finish while Ryan claimed Second Team after finishing 15th in the 100-meter hurdles prelims.

Davis put in another valiant battle at an NCAA Championship meet by clearing the bar at 5.25 meters which was also cleared by the National Champion Peter Lichtenberger of Washington U of St. Louis. However, Lichtenberger won the tiebreaker since he cleared the tying height on just one attempt while Davis cleared it on his second attempt. The duo both missed all three attempts at 5.30 while Collin Kao of UW-Oshkosh, who Davis battled at the Indoor Championships, failed once at 5.20, 5.25, and 5.30. Davis initially stayed alive at 5.10 meters as he was down to his last attempt. He now has four First Team All-American honors to his name in just two seasons at Ursinus.

Ryan secured Second Team honors in the 100-meter hurdle prelims on Friday afternoon. She completed a tremendous Ursinus career by finishing 15th in the prelims on a time of 14.67.
