SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. – Three Ursinus women's golfers competed at the Conquer The Island tournament on Wednesday afternoon in their spring season finale.
 
The Bears competed at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, a par-72 course that stretches 5,879 yards. Susquehanna University won the team title with a final tally of 329 with Drew University (332) placing second, and Scranton University (370) ranking third.
 
Junior McKenzi Thompson led the Bears lineup placing 32nd, finishing with a 109. Thompson's round was highlighted by earning par on the par-5 third and par-3 16th holes. Senior Lucy Bamford placed 40th signing for a 133. She shot a 68 on the front nine, before closing out her back nine with a 65.
 
The Bears close out their spring schedule and will return to action in the Fall.
