Ursinus Hall of Fame
Desiderio was a dynamic two-sport athlete for the Bears on the football and track & field teams. He became one of the most feared kick returners in the Centennial Conference history and still holds a pair of Centennial Conference career records in punt return average and yards gained per play. Desiderio holds the top-two single season punt return averages in Centennial Conference history while ranking 4th in all of Division III in that category during the 2009 season and 6th in 2011.
He was equally impressive as a big-play wide receiver as he ranks second in Centennial history in yards per catch in a season and in a career. He was a three-time All-Centennial selection with two at kick return and one at wide receiver. Desiderio helped lead Ursinus to a co-Centennial Conference Football Championship team in 2010. On the track, Desiderio was a six-time Centennial Conference Champion behind four indoor titles and two outdoor titles.
He was a two-time champion in both the 55 and 200 meters along with being an outdoor champion in the 100 plus 200 meters. Desiderio earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Neumann University in 2017 and currently serves as a Physical Therapist at Strive Physical Therapy. He also has a one-year-old son, AJ with his wife, Monica.
