Ursinus Hall of Fame
Keyser was a four-year member and captain of the basketball, field hockey, and softball teams. She was a two-time All-College Team selection as a center back in hockey, and played the guard position for the basketball squad in a time when unlimited dribbling had just been instituted.
As the starting catcher on the softball team, Keyser helped lead the Bears to their ninth consecutive undefeated season in 1949; in 1950, Ursinus outscored its opponents by a whopping 113-18 count. During the 1970s, Keyser became one of the first women to umpire men's fast-pitch games in the Philadelphia area, and even called balls and strikes for several of her daughter's games at Ursinus.
