Rountree thrilled Bears fans with exciting performances for both the Football and Track & Field teams. He is the only player in Ursinus Football history and one of two players in the history of the Centennial Conference to earn First Team All-Centennial honors for football in all four seasons of his career. Rountree was a two-time D3football.com All-Region selection and earned first team honors from the website in 2012. He is the Bears all-time career leader in interceptions with 21 and was a member of the 2010 Co-Centennial Championship team. Rountree was electrifying on the track & field team as he was a eight-time Centennial Conference Champion with four golds coming in each of the indoor and outdoor seasons. He earned golds in the 55 meters, 60-meter hurdles, 100 meters, 110-meter hurdles, and four triple golds with two coming in each season.

Rountree was named Most Outstanding Field Performer twice for the Centennial Indoor Championship meet in 2011 and 2013 along with being named the outstanding field performer once for the Outdoor Championship meet in 2011. Rountree capped his career by competing in the triple jump during the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and still holds the Ursinus school records for the 55-meter hurdles and outdoor triple jump. He is currently a member of The International Heat and Frost Insulators, has three children, and serves as a youth Baseball and Basketball.
