Curry was a member of the Ursinus Men's Wrestling program. Curry became the Centennial Conference Champion at the 141 pound weight class in 2000 and qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship Meet that same season. He was a member of the 1999 Ursinus Team Centennial Championship and finished with 104 career wins as a wrestler. Curry immediately became an assistant on the Bears staff under Bill Racich in 2001 and has amassed over 200 team wins as an assistant coach. Curry has helped coach eight Centennial Championship Teams, seven All-Americans, 22 individual Centennial Champions, and 22 NCAA Division III qualifiers. In addition to his service to the Ursinus Wrestling program, Pat has volunteered in numerous ways that support Ursinus College including the Philanthropy Committee, Bear2Bear, and the Athletics Advisory Council. Curry oversees day-to-day operations at his family's flooring business.
