McGarvey stands as one of the Centennial Conference's all-time men's basketball greats. The CC's record-holder in assists (754) and steals (300), he topped the league in assists all four years of his career and ranks second in 3-pointers (272). A two-time CC Player of the Year (2005, 2006) and two-time D3hoops.com All-American (2nd Team in 2006, 4th Team in 2005), McGarvey spurred the Bears to conference championships in 2003, 2005, and 2006, including the only undefeated CC season ever recorded in 2003. The owner of the three highest single-season assist totals in CC history, he finished his career with 1,460 points, 754 assists, 368 rebounds, 300 steals, and 272 3-pointers in 111 games.
