Ursinus Hall of Fame
Durkin was a prolific scorer for the Bears Women's Lacrosse team. She earned All-Centennial honors at attack in all four seasons she played in Collegeville with three honorable mention selections and one second team pick. Durkin made an instant impact the second she started her collegiate career by helping lead the Bears to the 2001 Centennial Conference Championship in her first season. She is tied for 1st in Ursinus program history for career goals and ranks third in career points. Durkin is also tied for ninth in Centennial Conference history for goals scored.
She holds Ursinus program single-game goals record with nine and was a Second Team All-Metro Region selection in 2004. Durkin received a Master's in Education from University of Washington (Seattle) in Curriculum and Instruction. She has served as a teacher for the last 16 years with the last 12 as a Science Teacher at the Telluride Mountain School. Durkin is also the Director of the Upper School, International Baccalaureate Coordinator, and Head of the Science Department at Telluride.
